ADVANCED ACTION SYSTEM

Before you begin, it is important to understand that the GAMEPACK has a finite amount of recording space or storage.  The remaining recording space is indicated by how many STRIKEPACK LEDS are still lit.

You can record up to a total of four sets of button combinations (actions); however, the more complex an action is, the less space you will have available for the other three actions.

YOU CAN CHOOSE BETWEEN TWO METHODS OF ACTIVATION IN MOD CENTRAL:

METHOD 1:  Action Repeat or Action Loop will be dedicating the Paddle / Action Button to a single action.  Method 1 is convenient for the STRIKEPACK ELIMINATOR which has up to FOUR ACTION BUTTONS to play with.

  • LEFT PADDLE / BUTTON #1 is Action 1.
  • RIGHT PADDLE / BUTTON #2 is Action 2.
  • BUTTON #3 is Action 3.
  • BUTTON #4 is Action 4.

Follow the Method 1 instructions or video below...

METHOD 2:  Action Repeat (Face Buttons) or Action Loop (Face Buttons) will assign the Paddle / Action Button as an activator to use with the Four Face Buttons.  Method 2 allows you to use all Four Actions on the STRIKEPACK DOMINATOR which has up to TWO PADDLES to play with.

  • / is Action 1.
  • / is Action 2.
  • / is Action 3.
  • / is Action 4.

Follow the Method 2 instructions below...

METHOD 1

RECORD ACTION:

TAP the ASSIGNED PADDLE / ACTION BUTTON (Heavy Rumble) and perform the gameplay action.  TAP the ASSIGNED PADDLE / ACTION BUTTON again to finish recording (Light Rumble), or if you run out of recording space, it will end on its own (Light Rumble).

  • Your timing, combination and sequence of buttons will have been recorded.  Action Repeat will remove the spacing after the last button press, whereas Action Loop will retain it so that you can leave a gap between loops.

NOTE:  By default, Analog Stick movement is blocked while recording.  For recording sticks, see Stick Record Mode.

REPEAT ACTION:

Use the ASSIGNED PADDLE / ACTION BUTTON to perform the recorded action:

  • For Action Repeat, TAP each time to repeat the action.
  • For Action Loop - Hold, HOLD to loop the action until RELEASE.
  • For Action Loop - Toggle, TAP to toggle looping the action (Heavy Rumble: ON / Light Rumble: OFF).

ERASE ACTION:

WHILE HOLDING TOUCHPAD / VIEW, HOLD the ASSIGNED PADDLE / ACTION BUTTON (Two Heavy Rumbles).

You will regain any recording space that was used by the action and you can retry recording.

METHOD 2

RECORD ACTION:

WHILE HOLDING the ASSIGNED PADDLE / ACTION BUTTON, TAP a FACE BUTTON (Heavy Rumble) and perform the gameplay action.  TAP the ASSIGNED PADDLE / ACTION BUTTON to finish recording (Light Rumble), or if you run out of recording space, it will end on its own (Light Rumble).

  • Your timing, combination and sequence of buttons will have been recorded.  Action Repeat (Face Buttons) will remove the spacing after the last button press, whereas Action Loop (Face Buttons) will retain it so that you can leave a gap between loops.

NOTE:  By default, Analog Stick movement is blocked while recording.  For recording sticks, see Stick Record Mode.

REPEAT ACTION:

WHILE HOLDING the ASSIGNED PADDLE / ACTION BUTTON, use the same FACE BUTTON to automatically perform the recorded action:

  • For Action Repeat (Face Buttons), TAP each time to repeat the action.
  • For Action Loop - Hold (Face Buttons), HOLD to loop the action until RELEASE.
  • For Action Loop - Toggle (Face Buttons), TAP to toggle looping the action (Heavy Rumble: ON / Light Rumble: OFF).

ERASE ACTION:

You will regain any recording space that was used by the action and you can retry recording.
