Now return to setting up each of the WEAPON PROFILES:

WEAPON AI allows you to change your WEAPON PROFILES on-the-fly:
(Make sure that you PRESS TOUCHPAD / VIEW BEFORE the Quips Wheel appears).

STEP 1:  It is REQUIRED that you are clear and away from any in-game vibration causing action such as enemies, grenades, the outer ring, etc, as well as on even terrain and away from any interactive objects such as ammo pickups, crates, doors or ziplines.

STEP 2:  You MUST also have a full ammo magazine and at least a reload remaining.  Additionally, your ability MUST NOT be activated.

STEP 3:  Set your weapon to a supported in-game fire mode.  All default fire modes are supported but some alternate fire modes are also supported as listed under each WEAPON PROFILE drop-down in MOD Central.

STEP 4:  WHILE QUICKLY HOLDING , PRESS TOUCHPAD / VIEW BEFORE the Quips Wheel appears.  Your weapon will do a detection sequence of firing, reloading and firing again.  IMMEDIATELY TAP the desired WEAPON PROFILE button before this sequence ends to set it to your current weapon.

  • If the Quips Wheel has appeared, the weapon WILL NOT fire, the MOD WILL NOT detect the weapon and you will have to repeat Step 4!

  • In Arena, please wait until the Buy Menu disappears before attempting to activate Weapon AI!

  • It takes roughly 5 seconds to detect your weapon and as you become more experienced, you will get a feeling for when it is safe enough to activate.

If "WEAPON SWAP" is Enabled, you should focus on PROFILE 1 for you PRIMARY WEAPON and PROFILE 2 for your SECONDARY WEAPON as the MOD ONLY tracks between BOTH PROFILES.  In this case, if NOTHING is PRESSED during the detection sequence, WEAPON AI will work with WEAPON SWAP to automatically overwrite the currently active PROFILE 1 or PROFILE 2.

    IMPORTANT NOTES:

  • Although it is rare, WEAPON AI can miss and detect the wrong weapon.  If the weapon seems incorrectly handled or something interrupted the detection sequence, simply repeat STEP 4.

  • All optimizations are designed around the base weapon with or without Extended Mag type attachments.  If any other attachment is throwing off the Anti-Recoil result, then it is best to use the Quick Edit to correct for it the best you can, or discard the attachment.

With the default vertical strength setting of 115, and the default horizontal strength setting of 125, ADS Anti-Recoil is optimized to be highly accurate when you are actually aimed on the enemy player, or the red dummy in the training grounds.

The Anti-Recoil will be inaccurate and drifting when you are firing at a wall or generally firing while NOT aimed on the enemy player.  If you struggle with staying aimed on an enemy player while firing, or if you just prefer Anti-Recoil to be accurate off enemy, at the cost of it being inaccurate on enemy, you can set vertical and horizontal strength to 100.

The reason there is a difference is because the game's in-game Aim Assist mechanic influences how much strength is needed for Anti-Recoil.

USING QUICK EDIT TO ADJUST OPTIMIZED ADS ANTI-RECOIL FOR ATTACHMENTS:

For a visualization of how a typical GAMEPACK's Quick Edit works in practice, please see either PS4 Dominator, XB1 Dominator, or XB1 Eliminator.

  • Quick Edit has separate adjustable settings for all 4 Weapon Profiles and the MOD can also assist with correcting for various attachments, which may require either an increase or a decrease of the Anti-Recoil strength.

  • SELECT THE WEAPON & PROFILE THAT YOU WISH TO ADJUST...

  • POINT AT A TARGET DUMMY IN THE TUTORIAL AREA...

While Aiming Down Sights, begin firing and TAP to activate Quick Edit Mode.
  • You MUST remain Aiming Down Sights to stay in Quick Edit Mode until you are finished adjusting.

If the recoil pattern is pulling up too much on average, continue to TAP to increase (+) the vertical strength.

If the recoil pattern is pulling down too much on average, TAP to decrease (-) the vertical strength.

If the weapon's recoil pattern seems to cause too much horizontal movement, TAP to increase (+) the horizontal strength.

If the Anti-Recoil itself seems to cause too much horizontal movement, TAP to decrease (-) the horizontal strength.

When you find the Anti-Recoil result to be good enough, RELEASE the Aim Down Sights button to save and exit Quick Edit Mode.

The saved values will be reflected in MOD Central if you wish to write them down for future reference when using this weapon.

To quickly reset the vertical and horizontal strength to the default 0 value:
WHILE HOLDING or , HOLD or until you feel 2 heavy rumbles.
WARNING:  Attachments that change fire type, affect fire rate or overly alter the recoil pattern are UNSUPPORTEDAnalog stick drift can also cause issues.  The Anti-Recoil will be quite far off when you are NOT aimed on the target dummy or an enemy player - there is nothing you can do about this as this is how the in-game mechanics were designed and it is important that you are aimed on an enemy player when you begin firing.  It is highly recommended that you keep your in-game sensitivity at 7 or under for accurate Anti-Recoil and Aim Assist.
