PROFILE SWITCH MODE determines how you will select PROFILES.
If you are unsure of which setting to go with, wait until after you have seen the "ADVANCED PROFILE SYSTEM" section.
MANUAL is simple to use. You will need to select the appropriate PRIMARY, SECONDARY, or PISTOL WEAPON PROFILE, whenever you switch between your weapons. See the ADVANCED PROFILE SYSTEM section for information on selecting profiles during gameplay.
WEAPON SWAP automatically switches between the PRIMARY, SECONDARY, and PISTOL WEAPON PROFILES when you TAP OR , as well as when you TAP the button to switch to your pistol. This automates the process of switching profiles whenever you switch between your weapons BUT it will sometimes DESYNC, on the in-game menu or lobby, loading screens and especially on death and restart.
To RESYNC WEAPON SWAP, switch to your PRIMARY WEAPON and select PRIMARY PROFILE with TOUCHPAD / VIEW & OR .
INDICATORS:
PS4 will flash LIGHTBAR COLOURS that match the corresponding PROFILE BUTTONS when switching with MANUAL or WEAPON SWAP.
XB1 will flash WHITE for PRIMARY PROFILE, GREEN for SECONDARY PROFILE, DOUBLE GREEN for PISTOL PROFILE when switching with WEAPON SWAP.
WEAPON SWAP (PS4 SOLID LIGHTBAR) changes between PRIMARY GREEN, SECONDARY RED, and PISTOL BLUE LIGHTBAR COLOURS when switching profile to help you to keep track of its current position. It will change to PURPLE if you DISABLE PROFILE MODS.
Global MODS Suspend / Resume: WHILE HOLDING TOUCHPAD / VIEW, PRESS R3 / RS to SUSPEND / RESUME GLOBAL MODS (Suspended: Heavy Rumble / Resumed: Light Rumble).
