FIRE MODE SELECTOR

This GAMEPACK contains four loadouts, each able to contain their own Primary and Secondary Weapon Fire Mode and Anti-Recoil settings.
This is effectively four sets of Primary and Secondary Weapons, or eight weapons that you can setup either in the GAMEPACK Config or during gameplay.

You can change the Active Fire Mode for your Active Weapon State during gameplay.

You MUST first ensure that you are on the Active Loadout that you intend to change, and that Weapon Swap is synced to your current weapon:

If you are unsure of how to check, refer to Loadout Selector and Weapon Swap and read them thoroughly.

While HOLDING , or the ACTIVATOR PADDLE BUTTON: TAP once and the LEDs will display your Active Fire Mode.

Continue to TAP to cycle through the Fire Modes.

RELEASE , or the ACTIVATOR PADDLE BUTTON to confirm your selection.

Regular Fire

Your weapon will fire exactly as it normally fires.

Rapid Fire

HOLD your FIRE button to fire your semi-automatic weapon at its maximum speed (adjustable).
  • Warning: If used with a fully automatic weapon, this MOD will cause a slower fire rate.

Plasma Pistol

FULLY HOLD your FIRE TRIGGER to repeatedly fire your Plasma Pistol with automatic venting.
LESS than fully HOLD your FIRE TRIGGER to charge your Plasma Pistol.
  • This MOD can prevent overheating of your Plasma Pistol.

Pulse Carbine

HOLD your FIRE button to repeatedly fire five shots of your Pulse Carbine with automatic venting.
  • This MOD can prevent overheating of your Pulse Carbine.
  • The fifth shot will be slightly delayed to prevent overheating.

Ravager

FULLY HOLD your FIRE TRIGGER to repeatedly fire four shots of your Ravager with automatic venting.
LESS than fully HOLD your FIRE TRIGGER to charge your Ravager.
  • This MOD can prevent overheating of your Ravager.

S7 Sniper Rifle

HOLD the AIM DOWN SIGHTS (ZOOM) button to scope in your S7 Sniper Rifle, and RELEASE when you are ready to fire.  Your SWITCH WEAPON button will cancel firing.
  • This MOD can help you to perform similar techniques to pro players, picking off others with surprise sniper shots.

Stalker Rifle

While NOT Aiming Down Sights (NOT zooming), HOLD your FIRE button to alternative between firing and venting your Stalker Rifle.  While AIMING DOWN SIGHTS (ZOOMING), HOLD your FIRE button to repeatedly fire six shots of your Stalker Rifle with automatic venting.
  • This MOD can prevent overheating of your Stalker Rifle.

Warning: All Fire Modes other than Regular Fire can affect menus or vehicle acceleration if they share the FIRE button.
See the Weapon Swap section for information about disabling MODs for vehicles or any other situations, etc.

GAMEPACK Config Adjustables Related to Fire Mode Selector:

Fire Mode Activation -

You can change the specifics of how your Fire Mode MOD is activated (note that the S7 Sniper Rifle MOD essentially ignores this setting):

Any Fire is the default for the Fire Mode MOD.
  • Meaning that if you FIRE, the MOD is activated.

    ADS Fire
  • Meaning that if you AIM DOWN SIGHTS (ZOOM) & FIRE TOGETHER, the MOD is activated.

Fire Only
  • Meaning that if you FIRE while NOT AIMING DOWN SIGHTS (NOT ZOOMING), the MOD is activated.

    Activate - Fully Hold
  • Meaning that if your FIRE TRIGGER is pressed all the way down, the MOD is activated.

    Block - Fully Hold
  • Meaning that if your FIRE TRIGGER is pressed all the way down, the MOD is deactivated.

Rapid Fire Delay -

A Rapid Fire Delay of 40 milliseconds is usually fast enough to maximize the fire rate of any semi-automatic weapon.  With this value, Rapid Fire will repeatedly alternate between firing for 40 milliseconds and waiting for 40 milliseconds.  This is faster than most semi-automatic weapons can actually fire.

If you feel your semi-automatic weapon can still fire faster, you can try lower values such as 20 milliseconds.  Be aware that if you have already reached the weapon's maximum fire rate, there will be no improvement, and at worse you could see an inconsistent and slower fire rate - this usually happens due to internet latency, or the game engine's handling of ridiculously fast button presses.  Note: The minimum delay for this GAMEPACK is 20 milliseconds - this is the lowest value that we could reach before we noticed adverse effects.
