SHOT PICKER
This MOD is the heart of the NHL 18 GAMEPACK.  It allows you to predetermine the type of shot and where the shot is going to be aimed.

In order to use the Shot Picker, HOLD LEFT PADDLE for Slapshot or HOLD RIGHT PADDLE for Wristshot.

While continuing to HOLD the PADDLE, PRESS 1 of 5 BUTTONS to aim the shot into either of the four corners or the five hole:

  • or will aim for the top left corner.
  • or will aim for the top right corner.
  • or will aim for the bottom left corner.
  • or will aim for the bottom right corner.

  • R1 / RB will aim for the five hole.

The High Accuracy Pullback Wristshot MOD allows for a Wristshot that the game deems more accurate.

  • If your player is left handed, WHILE HOLDING LEFT PADDLE & L1 / LB TOGETHER, PRESS 1 of the 5 Shot Picker buttons.

  • If your player is right handed, WHILE HOLDING RIGHT PADDLE & L1 / LB TOGETHER, PRESS 1 of the 5 Shot Picker buttons.

The EASY ONE TIMER MOD allows you to setup and be ready for a One Timer.  This is very effective as it works in conjunction with the Shot Picker and allows you to predetermine where your One Timer is going the moment the puck comes your way.

  • WHILE HOLDING LEFT PADDLE & L2 / LT TOGETHER, you will have limited on ice movement while being instantly ready for your One Timer.

  • To release your One Timer, PRESS 1 of the 5 Shot Picker buttons.

SHOT AIM ADJUSTER

By default, the Shot Picker will aim to the very outermost corners of the net.  Of course, every player has varying accuracy and handling, which needs to be adjusted for accordingly.

  • WHILE HOLDING ANY PADDLE:
  • TAP to incrementally adjust the aim of the shot towards the center of the net.
  • TAP to incrementally adjust the aim of the shot towards the outermost corner of the net.

Your adjustments are indicated via the LEDS and you can also read back the adjustments in MOD Central.
