CLASS 3 – ADS ANTI-RECOIL
Please watch this video update here.

WHILE AIMING DOWN SIGHTS AND AIMED ON THE ENEMY PLAYER, "WEAPON PROFILES" or "WEAPON AI" will be able to control the pattern of your recoil to heavily reduce it in all directions.  See the Weapon Profiles / AI section if you have yet to read it.

BEFORE USING ANTI-RECOIL, PLEASE SEE THE INFORMATION BELOW!

With the default vertical strength setting of 115, and the default horizontal strength setting of 125, ADS Anti-Recoil is optimized to be highly accurate when you are actually aimed on the enemy player, or the red dummy in the training grounds.

The Anti-Recoil will be inaccurate and drifting when you are firing at a wall or generally firing while NOT aimed on the enemy player.  If you struggle with staying aimed on an enemy player while firing, or if you just prefer Anti-Recoil to be accurate off enemy, at the cost of it being inaccurate on enemy, you can set vertical and horizontal strength to 100.

The reason there is a difference is because the game's in-game Aim Assist mechanic influences how much strength is needed for Anti-Recoil.

ANTI-RECOIL AIM SMOOTHING is a feature of the Anti-Recoil MOD that prevents the MOD's analog stick movements from interfering with your ability to smoothly aim while firing.  Standard is the default and original setting that most players will be familiar with, whereas Alternate is the new setting.  Alternate is subject to change in the future as we continue to improve it.  Choose the option that feels smoothest to you while keeping your crosshairs on the enemy player.
