CLASS 1, 3, 5 – WEAPON FIRE

Setup your PROFILE 1, 2 and 3 WEAPON FIRE where applicable.

The following MODS are fully adjustable in MOD Central (or the MOD Menu / Menu Mode as shown here).

  • With MODS such as Rapid Fire, the default value usually provides the best fire rate.  In a few cases, your game may allow you to fire slightly faster with a lower value (such as 20), or your game may struggle to handle overly fast timings, hence achieving a better, more consistent fire rate with a higher value (such as 50-100).

  • The ideal Burst Fire timing is subjective with a higher value achieving longer bursts and a lower value achieving shorter, more frequent bursts.

  • Quick Scope is the most likely MOD to require adjustment on a per game, per weapon basis, as your sniper rifle may fire too early (value too low) or too late (value too high).  This also affects the Auto Hold Breath timing.

MOD 1REGULAR FIRE:  NO WEAPON FIRE MOD.  Your weapon will fire exactly as it normally does.

MOD 2RAPID FIRE:  HOLD FIRE to fire your semi-automatic weapon at maximum speed.

  • If your game allows it, change your weapon's in-game fire mode to single shot or burst for use with Rapid Fire; otherwise it will slow down your fire rate on your fully automatic weapon.

MOD 3DYNAMIC FIRE:  The higher the pressure on the FIRE TRIGGER, the faster your weapon rapidly fires, allowing for improved ranged accuracy with less pressure.

  • If your game allows it, change your weapon's in-game fire mode to single shot for use with Dynamic Fire; otherwise it will slow down your maximum fire rate on your fully automatic weapon.

  • For Dynamic Fire, your FIRE MUST be L2 / LT or R2 / RT.

  • Anti-Recoil ONLY applies with maximum FIRE TRIGGER pressure.

MOD 4STEADY FIRE:  HOLD FIRE to fire your weapon at a steady pace with a delay between shots.

  • This works best if your weapon deals enough heavy damage on impact to afford firing it more slowly.  This is typically a trait of assault rifles.

  • Depending on your game, this could potentially reduce recoil, bullet spread and conserve ammo with the appropriate weapon.

MOD 5BURST FIRE:  HOLD FIRE to repeatedly fire your weapon in bursts.

  • This works best if your weapon deals most of its damage due to its fast rate of fire.  This is typically a trait of submachine guns (SMG).

  • Depending on your game, this could potentially reduce recoil, bullet spread and conserve ammo with the appropriate weapon.

MOD 6AUTO BURST FIRE:  HOLD FIRE to repeatedly fire your fully automatic weapon in bursts.

  • This MOD has a better fire rate with your fully automatic weapon but you will have to RAPIDLY TAP FIRE yourself for your semi-automatic weapon.

  • The same points otherwise apply as Burst Fire.

MOD 7AKIMBO RAPID FIRE:  HOLD FIRE OR BOTH FIRE buttons to rapidly fire both of your dual wield (akimbo) semi-automatic weapons.  HOLD YOUR LEFT FIRE button by itself to regularly fire both of your dual wield (akimbo) fully automatic weapons.

  • Any Anti-Recoil effects will be applied to BOTH FIRE buttons.

  • The Cover Fire, Aim Assist or Aim Assist+ MODS are incompatible and they will be deactivated if they are applied to the same profile.

MOD 8QUICK SCOPE ON TAP:  QUICKLY TAP & RELEASE AIM DOWN SIGHTS to quickly scope in and fire a shot.  HOLD AIM DOWN SIGHTS to simply scope in.

  • This MOD is designed for your scoped sniper rifle but in some games, it can work well if your weapon deals heavy damage on impact and becomes more accurate when you Aim Down Sights, which is typically a trait of scopeless rifles and shotguns.

MOD 9QUICK SCOPE ON RELEASE:  You will automatically fire a shot upon AIM DOWN SIGHTS RELEASE, allowing you to time your Quick Scope kill with your sniper rifle or high impact damage weapon.

  • The same points apply as Quick Scope on Tap.

MOD 10AUTO HOLD BREATH:  WHILE SCOPING IN YOUR SNIPER RIFLE, you will automatically hold your breath.

MOD 11AUTO HOLD BREATH & QUICK SCOPE ON TAP:  MODS 8, 10.

MOD 12AUTO HOLD BREATH & QUICK SCOPE ON RELEASE:  MODS 9, 10.
